From The President - By Mike Piccirilli

Dear Members,

The treasury value continues to decline. Even though flying has picked up, the purchase of a set of new spark plugs and a new tire have added to the debt. Based on the $300 negative treasury value, and the credits that will lower next months Income, I have added a one tIme assessment to each member of $50. This should get us close to a break even treasury value next month. I will continue to monitor our debt level each month and when lt reaches close to $350, I will add another $50 special assessment.

Randy has installed the spark plugs and I have removed the winterization plate (the engine should be running a lot cooler now). The tire is awaiting installatlon. Attentlon: the brass colored plate In the baggage compartment is the winterization plate. Randy please hang onto it until fall.

The transponder was checked and only a burnt bulb in the ldent button was found wrong. Please report any problems with the transponder to me. Randy is going to remove the turn and bank gyro and get it overhauled.

Please be careful when using the towbar. I noticed a 2-3" scratch ln the nose wheel pant as well as a large chipped piece.

Happy Landings,

Mike Piccirilli
