From The President - By Mike Piccirilli

Dear Members,

Welcome to our new member, Todd Michal. Todd purchased Emerson's share last month. Todd will get the opportunity to meet all the members at the next club meeting. I talked to Mike Russell last weekend and he will be arranging the meeting in the near future. Since Emerson sold his share we have also lost our scheduling officer. Randy Skyles' wife, Barb, was the backup scheduler and I suggest we call her with our reservations for the plane until we have our meeting. We can decide at the meeting if someone wants to take on the scheduling duties, or if Barb is willing to continue, we can decide to let things continue the way they are.

I received word that Million Air had reduced their fuel prices to $1.80/gallon and Marlin was able to get Jet Corp to match the same price. Continue to call Jet Corp for refueling the plane.

In anticipation of the next meeting please give some thought to filling the club officer positions. The positions to be voted on are President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Maintenance Officer, and Scheduling Officer.

Happy Landings,

Mike Piccirilli

Treasurer's Report - by Marlin Sipe

The treasury took a good jump this month. Next month it should make quite a jump again because of the amount of flight time flown, and the fact that the fuel I bought on the trip has already been credited to my account.

Attached is the current club roster, and the sheet showing our insurance coverage. Mike Russell gave me a copy of the insurance policy. I will have copies at the club meeting, instead of paying the extra postage to mail them.

Trip Report - By Marlin Sipe

I logged 14.6 hour tech time on the trip last week. Thanks to everyone for giving their ok for me to take the plane for 9 days. Everything worked fine, including the altitude encoder, even after 3 or 4 hours. With the weather we had, it was pretty cool, with an outside temp below 40 for some of the trip. I kept the vents (wing root and floor) open for as much cooling as possible. On the final leg back into St. Louis, outside temp was around 70, but everything was still working with all the vents open.
