From The President - By Charley

Dear Members:

It was great to see everyone at our club meeting and thanks to all who participated in arranging food and a special thanks again to John Waddell for bringing the excellent Pork Tenderloin!

Thanks also to members stepping up to take on various responsibilities. You will see from the minutes published by Tim that Geoff will be handling database updates for the Arrow, Rich Voth will be managing our cleaning supplies and to Larry for taking on Tug maintenance.

Tim Volk announced a temporary assignment to Switzerland and his intention to step down from the Secretary position for the two years he is away but will be retaining his membership. I’d like to thank Tim for his service as Club Secretary and service as an officer to the club, he has been a great advocate for members and done a fine job of keeping us organized! Thanks Tim, you will be missed and we hope to see you often on your return trips to the US. Please be sure to drop me a note if you are interested in serving as Club Secretary on an interim basis between now and our next officer election.

We hope to have additional information regarding the Citabria disposition soon and will keep you all posted. As discussed at the meeting, please be thinking about what you would like our course of action to be. I will be sending out a survey in the next week to gather input. As John mentioned, we will postpone upgrade to the Cessna until further notice to ensure that we have two aircraft available for members.

Thanks again for the great turnout at our meeting and I will be in touch shortly to gather input.

Safe skies,

Charley
