Dear Members,
We welcome Kyler Bristow as the newest member of the St. Louis Flying Club! Kyler is eager to get checked out in the planes and continue working toward his commercial rating.
The Signature Self-Serve Avgas pump on the yellow ramp is now back in service.
A reminder to get your requests in to Brian Williams if you want to take a plane to Oshkosh. Per the bylaws the planes are awarded on a lottery basis. It would be nice to have all 3 planes up there!
On a sad note, last week the aviation community lost one of the premier aerobatic pilots in the country. Rob Holland was fatally injured when his airplane crashed while approaching to land at Langley AFB in Virginia. Rob was taking his plane to Langley to perform in an airshow and the preliminary investigation indicates a failure in a modification to his elevator caused the elevator to jam.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for our club meeting on June 1st.

BALANCE SHEET
- The funds are tracking nicely. The Arrow maintenance fund is still negative but is expected to positive in the next few months.
- Cash is sufficient for the foreseeable future. We currently expect the January 2026 insurance payment to approximate $30,000(ish), but we have another seven months of flying to generate cashflows.
- We will revalue the aircraft as of May 15, 2025.

- No maintenance actions on the RV this month

- Oil Change - On April 28th, we changed the oil and filter. The spark plugs were also cleaned, gapped and rotated. The filter was checked and there were no metal particles.
N2242N Piper Arrow IV
- No maintenance actions on the Arrow this month
