From The President - By Mike Piccirilli Dear Members, Some of you have noticed the blue headset that has been left in the back seat, under the pillow. Much thanks to John for leaving it in the airplane for club members to use!! I got the results of the oil analysis and everything looks OK (the results are included in the newsletter). If you remember from the annual, the compression was down on one cylinder. We were going to check it again, after about 20 hours. We should be having that done soon. Based on that test, we can then discuss the implications for any needed engine maintenance. We will discuss that, and the other items detailed in last months newsletter, at our club meeting. Hope to see you then! Happy Landings! Pic Club Meeting - by John Heilmann The following are potential dates for the Club Meeting at the Jetcorp conference room starting at 7:00 p.m.:
Please let me know by email which dates you can and can not make. Treasurer's Report - by Marlin Sipe The Adjusted Treasury recovered back into positive territory, at $212.68, but still a bit behind what we would like to have saved toward the Annual by this time. With the relatively light flying this past month (4.7 hours), I do not expect a significant improvement in the treasury next month.
Maintenance - by John Heilmann & Randy Skyles Flying was minimal this past month and there is not much to report on maintenance activities this month. Special Airworthiness Information Bulletin - The club received Bulletin No. CE-04-72 concerning the Voltage Regulator. We will check into the applicability of this bulletin to our aircraft. Oil Analysis - We received the oil analysis results from the July 25th oil change. The values look very good with no high or abnormal readings. The affect of using Avblend is shown starting with sample 11 below. Oil Contaminants
