From The President - By Steve
Dear Members,
Summer flew by and I am glad to see the hot weather gone. Some good flying weather and Fall colors
to look forward to. Our Fall meeting is also coming up. The officers will get together this month to set an
agenda and pick a date. I will notify you as soon as possible so you can get it on your calendar.
Brian Williams continues to organize flyouts through the local EAA chapter. He gets a great turnout and
usually all the club planes are involved. Photo by David Ammons from the Arrow on the way to KMVN for lunch.

I have 2 more applications for membership so interest in the club remains high.

Treasurer's Report - by T.J
BILLING STATEMENT
Comments:
- Thanks for the receipts.
- Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
BALANCE SHEET
- The funds are still tracking nicely and are all positive.
- Cash is sufficient for the foreseeable future. We currently expect the January 2026 insurance payment to approximate $30,000 and given our current run-rates, we should have no problem meeting this.
- Thanks and please let me know of any questions or comments.

Maintenance - by John
N202CR RV-7A
- No Maintenance Actions this month
N20843 Cessna 172M
- Autopilot Roll Servo - On September 30th, Larry reported the Roll servo failed halfway through his flight. It would not track a heading or a Nav track but the altitude hold function still worked. There were no failure messages on the G5 to indicate the failure. Garmin says that is one of the problems with the early servo design and the new Mod 1 servos have better failure reporting capabilities. We ordered a replacement Mod 1 servo under warranty and the servo was installed on 3 September. All of the servos in the Cessna are now the newer Mod 1 servo design.
- Oil Change - On September 3rd, the oil and filter were changed. There was no metal in the oil filter. An oil sample was sent in the oil analysis results were normal. The spark plugs were cleaned, gapped and rotated.
- Window Latch - On September 5th, Kyler reported that the Pilot Door window latch broke while closing the window for takeoff. Larry had a spare latch and we replaced it the next morning.
N2242N Piper Arrow IV
- Oil Change On 25 August, the oil and filter were changed. Checked the filter and oil sump screen and there was no metal particles. An oil sample was sent in the oil analysis results were normal. The propellor governor was adjusted to get 2700 RPM at takeoff. Complied with AD 2015-19-07 by checking fuel injector lines and line clamps.
