From The President - By Steve
Dear Members,
I hope everyone was able to celebrate Christmas with their family and no one was too terribly affected by the airline meltdown.
Thanks to Brad for the work he did with our insurance quote. We are seeing a small premium increase but not what most of us were expecting. Other things concerning the club are a change to Basic Med and aircraft registration renewals. Effective 12/22/2022 the Basic Med rule was amended to allow a pilot with basic med to act as safety pilot. The aircraft registration has been changed from 3 years to 7 years.
Here's looking forward to a great 2023 for all of us.
