From The President - By Mike Piccirilli Mercy Chrlstmas and Happy New Year: Just when you thought everything that could break had and was fixed? Surprise! The throttle cable broke and left Emerson at the end of the runway with the engine idling, Thanks to Chuck and Bill, the new cable was purchased ($178.60 Ouch!) and installed. The cabln speaker went dead while I was flying outside the traffic area. I thought the frequency was awful quiet and was happy I had my portable radio with me. It turned out to be a corroded ground wire to the speaker. I also had the Biennial Altimeter, Static System and Transponder Check done so we are all legal. Thanks to Emerson for running the plane to Ozark Radio. Charlie informed me he has a court date on 1/15/92 to arque a Defense Motion to basically throw out our new trial. Charlie sees it as just a stall tactic. Happy Landings, Mike Piccirilli
