Dear Members,

Randy has not been able to qet the CAP hangar for doing the annual thls year. In order to expedite the annual, Randy and I thought it would be best to have C&D Avlatlon at Smartt Fleld perform it. They are slow at this time of year and can get it ln during the last week of February. We will coordinate getting the plane over there the week of 24 Feb. The annual will be dated ln March. Base price of the annual is $420.

I haven't heard anything firm on the sale of C.J.'s share. I am including an article about an inexpensive GPS unit. This unit does not have a database which also means it does not have a moving map. The addition of a database requires periodic updates which could cost over $300 a year. This cheap type unit seems to be the most economical way to gain GPS navigation. Let me know your thoughts; if this would be a worthwhile addition, if you would rather not have any additional expense at this time, or if you would rather us invest in a database model.
