Dear Members,

Happy New Year!

I hope most of you have been able to take advantage of the warm weather over the holidays, and in January, to go flying.

I'd like to get a club meeting scheduled during February to specifically discuss the on-line scheduling system, the annual inspection, officer elections, and any other issues you might have. Todd, would you please arrange the club meeting and notify the membership. I ask each of the members to e-mail Todd as to their availability (day of the week, travel schedules, etc.) so he can better schedule the meeting.

We have had someone (Jeff Schubert) actually see our website and send us his application to join the club. I have attached his application and a letter he sent to me, for your information. I have replied to him that we don't have any current openings but we would keep in mind.

Treasurer's Report - by Marlin Sipe

The Treasury continues to improve. If we don't have any significant maintenance expenses come up, we should be in good shape for the Annual in a few months.

I understand someone had trouble again with using a headset in the plane. We had fixed the problem before, but the ground wire there is short, and a good pull on it may have broken it again. Maybe it's about time to permanently wire that Y adapter for the push-to-talk into the circuit, and eliminate the dangling adapter. We talked about it before, but it's been a low priority.
