From The President - By Mike Piccirilli

Dear Members,

Other than the landing light burning out, nothing much to report this month. I'm firguring the snow and cold weather is keeping the flying hours down this month. Remember, don't attempt to start the plane below 20 degrees without pre-heat.

Happy Landings!

Treasurer's Report - by Marlin Sipe

The Adjusted Treasury increased about $102, to $960, well ahead of the $675 we would like to have saved for Annual so far.

As proposed last month, the hourly rate has gone up $2 to $46 per hour because of the increase in fuel cost.

Maintenance - by John Heilmann & Randy Skyles

Jeff reported the landing light was inoperative prior to a night checkout flight. Randy checked the system and found the light was burned out. We did some research into replacing the bulb with a quartz halogen bulb but there are no approved replacements for the 4522 bulb we use on our aircraft. We plan to replace the light with a 4522 bulb on January 25th.
