From The President - By Mike Piccirilli Dear Members,Happy New Year! I see everyone has been able to make the most of the mild winter weather and get some flying in. Enjoy!! Happy Landings! Treasurer's Report - by Marlin Sipe The Treasury lost a little ground this month, because of the lack of flying last month, and because of the expenses like fuel charges for this month, oil change, etc. We are a bit behind what we want saved for the Annual, but it should recover next month with payment for all the recent flying. Maintenance - by John Heilmann & Randy Skyles Oil Change - Randy and John changed the oil and oil filter on December 31st. A can of avblend was also added. An oil analysis report will be included in next months newsletter Oil Cooler Winter Plate - The oil cooler winter plate was installed on 31 December to reduce airflow to the oil cooler and speed up oil warm-up during the cold weather. We will remove it when the weather starts to warm up which is hopefully not to far off. ADF Indicator - During Marlin's flight on 18 January, the ADF indicator did not seem to operate correctly. The ADF was able to pick up the station but the indicator did not rotate to provide direction to the station. BFR/Medicals Due - by Todd Michal The club records indicate the following Medical/BFRs are due in the first three months of 2004.
