From The President - By Mike Piccirilli Dear Members, Sorry last month's newsletter got lost on the internet. Many thanks to Randy for replacing the ELT batteries. Randy also checked the placard on the winterization plate and it says it should only be used if the air temperature is below 20 degrees. Since we don't normally fly it below 20 degrees, and even if we did we would need to preheat it, Randy and I decided to not install it. Marlin and I have discussed the treasury deficit. Our analysis shows that with minimal flying taking place over the next 4 months the current deficit will not improve. Since the personal property tax, annual, and insurance are coming due soon it seems prudent to make a special assessment. We have decided to include a $50 special assessment on the January bill and decide if we need to make another special assessment in February or March when it becomes clearer how much we will need. I have moved to yet another position and I am now at 895-1600, extension 5115. If you really need me, during the day, you can beep me at 407-6613. Happy Landings, Mike Piccirilli
