From The President - By Mike Piccirilli

Dear Members,

Dear Members,

I wanted to give each of you a head's up that I will be selling my share in the club in the next month or two (95% probability). After many year's of trying, a Boeing employee flying club is starting in STL and I have joined. They also have a 172 and it will be based at Creve Coeur. The decision to leave our club was not an easy one, but for the amount of flying that I currently do, it makes sense for me. I plan on sending an e-mail to people that have submitted applications in the past couple years to see if they still might have an interest in taking my spot. If needed, I will also advertise locally.

I suggest that John organize a club meeting to hold elections in the near future. Until then, Todd can certainly step in as Vice-President once I leave.

My association with the STL Flying Club over the past 17 years has been fantastic and I have lots of great memories. I believe the club will continue to thrive with each of your continuing contributions to make it a success.

Happy Landings!

Treasurer's Report - by Marlin Sipe

The Adjusted Treasury had a very slight increase, from $508 to $559 this month. As announced last month, monthly dues have increased by $5 because of the higher insurance.

Maintenance - by John Heilmann & Randy Skyles

The only problems during Marlins trip were an inoperative landing light and ADF. The ADF doesn't point to the station even when you are right next to it. The oil change is due in about 3 hours.
