St. Louis Flying Club Newsletter - 31 March 2023

From The President - By Steve

Dear Members,

The flying has slowed up some since the last newsletter but not unexpectedly for this time of year. As I write this the wind has been howling for the last 2 days but the forecast is for some nice flying weather. My schedule includes a little safety pilot work and some flying of my own. On one of my last flights I met a pilot that has a 180hp 172 and he had nothing but good things to say about the conversion. I have yet to meet anyone that had anything negative to say about the 180hp in a 172. I haven't heard anymore about our engine but we should be flying it some time this year.

The officers are planning our club meeting for May or June so you can look for more information in the coming weeks.
