From The President - By Mike Piccirilli

Dear Members,

I'd like to formally welcome Mike Russell as the newest member of the St. Louis Flying Club. Mike bought Charlie McMullin's share of the club and was approved by the membership, per the by-laws.

The 172 is still in the paint shop. They may not be the fastest paint shop but they sure are thorough. Emerson has been stopplng by to check on progress and his latest report, 3/11, was that the plane was completly stripped, all the fiberglass was repaired, new fiberglass pieces were installed and lmperfections in the skin were being filled in. The interior work wasn't started yet. It will probably be another couple of weeks. The detailed work break-down I promised you is attached this month.

Spirit sent us a notice that they do not allow unattended vehicle parking on the ramp any longer. I don't believe it affects us as long as we park under the hanger within our spot. They might just tow your car if you park next to the hanger.

I received a surprlse in the mail when we received another check from St. Louis County for $112.25. It seems it is a separate check to cover the court costs. A pleasant surprlse!

I have also updated the club roster and enclosed a copy

Happy Landings,

Mike Piccirilli
