Dear Members,

Congratulations to Jim Oshea who was just hired by ASA/XpressJet on 27 May and starts training next week.

It was great to see many of you at the club meeting. For those that weren't able to make it, Charlie Royce sent out the meeting minutes earlier this week. Thanks to Bob for once again getting the Wings of Hope conference room for our meeting. It's great having such a comfortable location to host our meeting.

Charley was able to get a great price on the Garmin Aera 560 GPS for the Arrow. The GPS came in this week and John plans to install it over the next few weeks. This should give us an on-board weather capability just in time for summer thunderstorms!

Treasurer's Report - by Mike McBride

Fuel prices climbed by about $0.25 per gallon this past month, increasing both aircraft flight rates by $3.00 per hour. Treasury and escrow balances remain in very favorable positions. Flight hours this month were relatively low, at just under 7 hours for N20843 and 12 hours for N2242N.

Battery Servicing - The battery was serviced on on 31 May.
Cowl Mount - Replaced the lower left hand cowl mount with new Lord J-7444-14 Cowl Mount.

Oil Change - Dale and I Changed the oil and filter on 5/30/2011 and added 8 quarts Phillips XC 20/W50 oil.
