From The President - By Steve
Dear Members,
We had a great turnout for our Spring meeting where we met our two newest members, Kyler Bristow and Darin Drummond. Sadly we had to say goodbye to Mike Piccirilli as he left with more than 37 years in the club. I want to thank Mike Mahoney for agreeing to fill Pic’s position as Chief Pilot and Jason Watt for taking on the aircraft valuations. Jason has previous experience in that area and will do a great job.
Congratulations to Damian Mahoney who will soon be flying for Aero Charter. They have a King Air and a Citation and his training for the type rating in the jet starts next month. I almost forgot to mention he is taking the RV to Colorado for a mountain flying class!
Thanks to all who helped with the meeting. Damian brought the food and drinks, John with the safety briefing and maintenance update, TJ with the financials, and Brian with the Oshkosh lottery. Also everyone that helped with the setup/cleanup.
Warmer weather is here and I hope to see a lot of you around the airport as we get out and enjoy the airplanes.
Steve

Treasurer's Report - by T.J
BILLING STATEMENT
Comments:
- Thanks for the receipts.
- Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
BALANCE SHEET
- The funds are tracking nicely. The Arrow maintenance fund is still negative but is expected to positive in the next few months.
- Cash is sufficient for the foreseeable future. We currently expect the January 2026 insurance payment to approximate $30,000(ish), but we have another seven months of flying to generate cashflows.
- We revalued the aircraft as of 5/15/25. The changes had an insignificant impact to our financial statements.
- Thanks and please let me know of any questions or comments.

Maintenance - by John
N202CR RV-7A
- Condition Inspection - The RV Condition was completed on 19 May. The LH and RH brake pads were replaced. The oil and filter were changed and there was no metal in the filter. The spark plugs were cleaned, gapped and rotated.
N20843 Cessna 172M
- Strobe Light - On May 5th, we replaced the RH Strobe light.
N2242N Piper Arrow IV
- Pilot Shoulder Harness - The spring in the inertial reel broke and the Pilot shoulder harness was removed for repair. The replacement harness has been ordered and will be installed when it arrives in early July.
- Gear Override lever knob - The plastic gear override knob broke and it was replaced with a larger aluminum knob. As a reminder, don't operate the gear override lever unless the cover has been removed from the mast on the side of the plane. With the cover on, air can't get into the bellows when the lever is moved which can damage the bellows.
- Oil Change - The oil and filter were changed on June 2. The filter and Oil sump screen were removed and there was no metal found. The spark plugs were cleaned, gapped and rotated.
