From The President - By Mike Piccirilli

Dear Members,

The personal property tax increased by $35 this year. The assessed value is $29,610. We don't have a case to argue since we value it at $31,500.

As you can see from the monthly statement, we continue to go more in debt ($240). Unfortunately, I dld not get 4/5 of the members to agree to a dues increase to cover the higher fIxed costs I detailed last month. According to the by-laws, part F, "If the treasury is Insufficient to cover the cost, then each member will share proportionally in the difference." Accordingly, next month I will assess each member an amount sufficient to put the treasury back to $0. No vote is required.

Randy has purchased a new set of spark plugs and Chuck has purchased a new tire (both of these were items identified during the recent annual). Randy is planning to install the plugs and tire soon. Randy also noted that the turn coordinator gyro seems to be going out. If so, that will be replaced.

Happy Landings,

Mike Piccirilli
