From The President - By Mike Piccirilli Dear Members, I flew with a new candidate for club membership this month. His name is Todd Michal. He is a Boeing employee and Marlin knows his wife. Todd is interested in buying either Emerson's or Chuck's share in the club. Todd has his CFI and about 800 hours. It's been over a year since he had flown but he did fine. I expect Todd to get a membership application to me any day and I will distribute it to all members for a vote. Mike Russell should be setting up our annual meeting in the near future. As soon as it is set up either Mike or I will pass on details. Marlin reported that the ADF is working fine since Randy cleaned the contacts on it. Thanks Randy. Mike Russell reports that the insurance has been renewed. I will include a copy of the coverage in the newsletter next month. Mike Russell reports the club meeting will probably be sometime in June. He will be on a business trip for a while. Attached is Todd's membership application for everyone to look over. I will be calling everyone to get their yay/nay on Todd. I understand that Todd will be buying Emerson's share. Emerson has been doing an excellent job running the schedule, and can almost always be reached. We will need to decide who will take over running the schedule. Any volunteers? I think the ideal person would be someone who happens to carry a pager anyway. Anyone? Another option would be for Emerson to continue running the schedule, if he wanted to do that. A couple of us have also been tossing around some ideas, such as something computer based that a member could call into at any time to schedule the plane, or see when it's scheduled. Happy Landings, Mike Piccirilli
Treasurer's Report - by Marlin Sipe
The treasury is looking better this month. There are a couple checks that were not received yet, but if we count those, the treasury is about $25 in the green. Things will hopefully continue to improve from here.
