From The President - By Todd Michal

Dear Members,

Fall is here and with it the temperatures are getting cooler. Remember that as temperatures fall below freezing you will need to call and request an engine pre-heat. John has found a relatively inexpensive alternative to engine pre-heats that he will discuss at the next club meeting.

Thanks to Mike W. for scheduling the annual club meeting. After many e-mails, Mike was able to identify a night for the club meeting that everyone can make. The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 PM on November 30th at Jet Corp. Please send me any items that you would like to get on the meeting agenda. Also, give some thought to filling the club office positions. The positions to be voted on are President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Maintenance Officer.

I hope to see you all at the meeting.

Happy Takeoffs!

Todd

Treasurer's Report - by Marlin Sipe

With the large flight time being paid from last month, the Adjusted Treasury had a nice increase from $514 to $791 this month, which is a decent balance for this point in the year. Since this was another busy flying month, we should see another good increase with the payments next month.

The price of fuel at JetCorp dropped to $4.60, after peaking at $4.75. If it continues to drop, we may actually have a slight decrease in the hourly rate.

   Maintenance - by John

Overvolt Light - The only maintenance action this month was to fix a broken voltage sensing wire at the alternator that caused the High Volt to come on. The wire was reconnected and the system OPS checked OK.

Oil Change - With the good weather on Oct 28, we changed the oil and filter and installed the oil cooler winterization plate.
