From The President - By Mike Piccirilli Dear Members, I want to thank Chuck for changing the oil and replacing the brakes, as well as helping Mike, Emerson, and me wash it on October 16th. It's looking in real good shape. It should be a minimal annual! Chuck has made arrangements with Bill Richards to do the annual as he can get to it, during the month of November. It's the same way as last year. You'll notice that the personal property tax jumped by another $80 this year. The culprlts were an increase in the Rockwood school district tax and the plane keeps appreciating. Not much we can do about it. The oil analysis came back as normal. Previosly aluminum had been high, but it seems to have gone back down. The numbers are enclosed. We are back on a 50 hour oil change schedule. The new assistant at Spirit is John Bales. Enclosed you will find a letter from him. He took Ken Nebrig's spot. The annual should be done within a few weeks. Hopefully nothing major will be found. Happy Landings, Mike Piccirilli
