From The President - By Todd Michal

Dear Members,

Thanks to Marlin and John for rotating and cleaning the plugs and fixing the primer. It is hard to believe that summer is over already. it is nearing time for the annual meeting (last officer elections were in Oct 05). Mike Warakomski is trying to schedule a meeting for Saturday, Oct 7 at 10:00 at JetCorp. Mike will be sending out a separate Email reminder. Please let Mike know if you are unable to make this date and we will try to reschedule if enough members can't make it.

Happy Takeoffs!

Todd

Treasurer's Report - by Marlin Sipe

The Adjusted Treasury had a nice increase, from $299 to $514 this month.

The fuel price at JetCorp went up 10 cents to $4.75, but came back down and is expected to come down even more. We'll see where it is next month, and hopefully have a decrease in the hourly rate.

We have been charging the JetCorp fuel to my AOPA credit card, which gives a 5% rebate, which I've been giving back to the club (by only taking credit for 95% of the JetCorp charges). In past years that usually gave us something over $100 per year. This year looks like it should be well over $150 back to the club. I received a letter that they are changing the credit card program to a WorldPoints card, and eliminating the 5% rebate as of the end of the year. It was nice while it lasted.

   Maintenance - by John

NAV-11 Sale - We sold the Narco NAV-11 on Ebay for a net profit of 191.62. This was much better than expected. We only have the ADF left to sell. I have been watching EBay for the past months and no one is bidding on ADF's. I will keep monitoring Ebay to see if it is worth listing it.

Fuel Primer - The O-Rings on the fuel primer were replaced and it now works properly.

Spark Plugs - On 2 September, we cleaned, gaped and rotated the spark plugs.

Engine Baffle - Two sections of worn engine baffling were replaced on 2 September.

Oil Analysis - We received the oil analysis results from the oil change on 6 August as sample 20 below. There was an increase in some readings but all the values are well within normal ranges. The affect of using Avblend is shown starting with sample 11 below.
