From The President - By Todd Michal

Dear Members,

Fall is here, and that means it's time for our annual club meeting. The meeting will likely be delayed until November this year. We are working on a proposal for reincorporation of the club and want to have it ready for discussion before the meeting. Look for a notice from Mike W. in the next few weeks to organize the meeting date.

Keep sending in your reviews and photos of fly-in destinations. We have new reports this month from Pic's trip to Dexter MO. on the fly in destination page and Shiv's trip to Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone Park below. When bad weather to the east cancelled Shiv's planned trip to New York City, he went to plan B and flew west with his dad and two daughters where the weather was good. After a stop at Council Bluffs, Iowa, Shiv landed at Rapid City (KRAP), South Dakota, a total distance of 646nm. He then flew 259nm west to Yellowstone Regional (KCOD) airport and toured Yellowstone and other parks in the area. Here are a few photos from his trip.

Treasurer's Report - by Mike McBride

Fuel prices during the month dropped by $0.10 per gallon ($6.28 per gallon retail at TACAir); flight rates for the Cessna and Arrow are $72 and $96 per hour, respectively. Cessna hours for the month were 26.26, Arrow hours were 43.51. Club treasury is in good shape at just under $1,000. All is quiet at the moment on the financial front.

Fly safely!

Mike
