From The President - By Mike Piccirilli

Dear Members,

It's the time of year to update the insurance records and hope we get a lower quote (wish, wish, wish)! Please provide your info to Todd as soon as possible.

A big thanks to Jeff's wife for sewing the cowl plug cover. It looks great! Thanks also to Randy, Marlin and John for changing the oil last Saturday. I know it was a challange in the below 20 degree weather.

I understand that John is working with Randy to coordinate the timing of this year's annual. The plan is to actually be able to borrow a hangar, at St. Charles County, for us to be able to perform the annual ourselves. We've talked about this for a couple years but just have not been able to pull it off. Of course, doing the annual ourselves means we could use all the hands we can. Try to set some time aside to help out if at all possible.

Happy Landings,

Pic

From The Treasurer - From Marlin Sipe

The Treasury increased a little more this month. We now have over $1200 for maintenance, so unless something big comes up, we are in great shape for the Annual in April.

From Maintenance - From John Heilmann

The oil was changed and the nose strut serviced last weekend. We have access to a hanger at St Charles County airport to do the annual. We can use the hanger for a few weeks if we need to but hopefully we can finish the annual over a long weekend. I will be sending out a message shortly to see what is the best weekend to do it from a "help availability" standpoint.
